"The Freedom To Be: A Journey in Spiritual Formation"

Dr. Walter Malone, Jr., pastor of the Canaan Christian Church has released a new book entitled, "The Freedom To Be: A Journey in Spiritual Formation". The thesis of his book addresses the idea of how God intersects the various episodes and experiences of our lives to give shape and meaning to the purposes and plans He has ordained in relationship to our salvation experience. Every person has a Story! And spiritual formation is the reflection and interpretation of the awareness, transformation, vision, and empowerment that is taking place in one's life as we make our sojourn in the world for God's glory and our good.

On Saturday, May 17, 2014, Dr. Malone will be having a book signing at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, 1701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, KY 40203 from 1pm-3pm. His book is available for purchase through Amazon.com for both hardback and eBook, and at Canaan Christian Church.
