LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The closure of the Clark Memorial Bridge scheduled for later this month has been pushed back until after the July 4 holiday weekend.
The closure will allow workers to assemble concrete panels for retaining walls that will be built adjacent to the bridge's approach. The work is part of the Ohio River Bridges Project.
The bridge, which leads to Second Street in downtown Louisville, will be closed for about six weeks with the work complete by Labor Day.
