LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man has been arrested on charges that he pulled a knife on another man and tried to cut him.

An arrest warrant states the incident happened on May 7. The warrant says the man and his wife went to the home of Leonard Dunn because they had purchased a television set from him and brought the money to pay for it.

While the man was sitting in his car Dunn approached the vehicle and started cursing at him. Dunn then pulled the knife and slashed at the man. The man's wife, who is the niece of Dunn's wife, was able to get between Dunn and his intended victim.

Dunn told the man he would kill him of police were called. When Louisville Metro Police arrived, Dunn refused to answer the door.

Dunn was arrested May 13. He is charged with terroristic threatening and wanton endangerment.

The man Dunn was trying to cut believes Dunn was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
