NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

A woman claiming to be a voodoo priestess is accused of robbing three people after giving them a palm reading. New Orleans Police say the woman went to a home in the 1300 block of Esplanade Avenue on Monday night to give three women the readings.

Once she was done, the "voodoo priestess"  demanded money from the victims.  They reportedly gave the woman some money, but the woman wanted more.  She told the victims that she had two male "bodyguards" outside. All three then ordered the women to go to a nearby ATM machine and withdraw more money.

The woman and two men then grabbed the money and ran.  New Orleans Police are asking anyone with information to contact First District Detective Kevin Richardson at 504-658-6373 or anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll free at 1-877-7867.
