LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police are investigating after an overnight shooting in Louisville leaves one man dead.

According to Alicia Smiley, spokeswoman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, dispatch received a call regarding a shooting around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, May 18.

When police arrived to the 300 block of S. 42nd Street, they found a man deceased from at least one gunshot wound at his residence.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Quinton Logan, 38.

Smiley said it's still early in the investigation and there are no suspects at this time.
