Shoplifter accused of enlisting 10-year-old's help at Walmart

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man enlisted the help of a 10-year-old boy while shoplifting at a Louisville Walmart, according to police.

Benjamin L. Graybill, 35, of Louisville, broke the lock on the fragrance cabinet at the Outer Loop Walmart on Saturday, used a box cutter to open packages of merchandise, and then handed the box cutter to the boy, Graybill's arrest report states. Graybill then concealed $89.92 worth of merchandise and passed the store's final point of sale without paying.

The incident was captured on surveillance video.

Graybill is charged with theft by unlawful taking and unlawful transaction with a minor.
