LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Golden Alert has been issued for a man who authorities say may have a memory or mental impairment, but they caution, he is known to carry firearms.
Dennis J. Sorrell, 58, was last seen near 4th Street and Central Avenue around 7 p.m. on Thursday, according to St. Matthews Police and Louisville Jefferson County Emergency Management and MetroSafe Communications.
Sorrell is 6' tall and weighs about 135 pounds. Authorities said he is prone to seizures, alcohol usage and is delusional. Due to conflicting reports, authorities are not releasing information about what he may have been wearing when he was last seen. He routinely carries firearms and has also resisted arrest in the past, authorities said.
Anyone with information about Sorrell should call 911.
