Horses race one-on-one after scratches

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – It was a 50-50 chance of winning for two horses at Churchill Downs Monday morning.

During the first race of the day the field of six horses was knocked down to two after four were scratched.

From the start it was a close race between Theodore's Cash and Stereo in Motion, but in the end Theodore's Cash pulled ahead

The win marked Jockey Joe Johnson's 999 victory.
