Nanz and Kraft employee charged with pocketing cash from deliveries

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man who worked for Nanz and Kraft is being charged for keeping money belonging to the company and fraudulently using their credit card.

According to a criminal summons, Joseph Hess, 43, used a credit card belonging to Nanz and Kraft to make purchases at D&W Silks without the consent of the business. Hess also accepted cash payments from two customers for deliveries and keep the money for himself.

He also took nine orders to customers which were not accepted. Hess failed to return the merchandise to the store.

Hess is being charged with fraudulent used of a credit card, theft by unlawful taking and theft by failure to distribute property.
