LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman has been arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store. Louisville Metro Police charged Raynika Robards, 34, with theft by unlawful taking and giving a false name.
According to the arrest warrant, Robards was stopped by loss prevention officers at the Portland Kroger store trying to leave with $33.02 in merchandise.
Robards, who told police she had undergone a recent sex change, tried to give officers the Kentucky driver's license of man, claiming it was hers. The license had a different date of birth.
Robards was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections.
