LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Scattered storms will continue to develop Thursday evening producing heavy downpours and lightning in the locations they occur.
Northerly winds on Friday will deliver drier air to southern Indiana. This will push dew points back into the 50s, meaning more comfortable conditions for those making weekend plans.
The chance for storms will also be low through the weekend. The drier air will warm rapidly and we could see the warmest readings of the season so far Saturday and Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few places top out around 90 degrees. A slight increase in moisture returns on Sunday, but we'll really notice the increase next week as we head back into a summer-like pattern. Warm and muggy conditions with scattered storms expected with the unsettled conditions.
Tonight: Scattered showers and storms, mostly cloudy. High: 68
Friday: Morning clouds, showers south, becoming partly sunny. High: 86
Saturday: Mostly sunny, warm, less humid. High: 89 Low: 65
Sunday: Partly sunny, isolated storm chance. High: 90 Low: 65
