LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Complaints from students and parents have led to an investigation by the Jefferson County Public Schools of Male High principal David Mike.

Mike's professional behavior will be investigated at the request of the assistant superintendent that oversees Male.

Parents, students and staff have voiced concerns about statements made by Mike and how he handled students and staff. One member of the school's Site Based Decision Making Council sat next to Mike and said he could no longer trust him.

JCPS said the new investigation has nothing to do with another one underway by ACT college assessment test. Students at Male say they were given help answering the college prep test and some say Mike told them not to divulge that information.

Mike is in his first year as principal at Male High.
