LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man tells police a multimillion dollar story in attempts to avoid arrest.
According to the arrest report, Corey Caudill, 21, was asked to leave The Tin Roof on June 1 because he was drunk and disorderly. After being kicked of the bar, a police detective told Caudill to leave the premises. That's when Caudill said he was dating the daughter of the detective's boss and would have the detective fired. Caudill also attempted to bribe employees with money to regain entry.
Police said Caudill, who had to use the detective's shoulder to keep his balance, said his father owned the police department and made $600 million a year.
The report says Caudill later returned to The Tin Roof and got back in through the front door but was put out of the bar again. After being denied entrance into Molly Malone's, Caudill went back to The Tin Roof and tried again to get inside.
Caudill was arrested at 3:36 a.m. for alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing.
