LA GRANGE, KY (WAVE) - The search is on for the man who held up a bank in Oldham County and police say it may not have been the first time he's targeted the location.
La Grange police said the man walked into the Farmers Bank of Milton in the 2200 block of S. Highway 53 around 11:20 a.m. He gave the teller a note demanding money. After getting the cash and leaving the bank, the red dye pack placed with the money went off in the suspect's car. The money was recovered, but the suspect was seen leaving in an older model two door gray car.
The man was wearing a white t-shirt with a nautical logo on the left breast and a blue ball cap. Police say he should have the red dye all over himself, along with his clothes and car. La Grange police believe the man wanted for this robbery is the same person who held up the bank on April 23.
Police ask anyone with information to call them at 502-222-0111.
