LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man is facing charges after admitting to police he raped and sexually assaulted a woman at a Louisville hotel.
Police responded to the Sun Suites on Taylorsville Road around 10:00 p.m. on June 1. According to an arrest report, the victim said Willie Junior Luvine, 47, sexually assaulted her.
Luvine was taken into custody and questioned. He told police he had intercourse with her. A detective interviewed the victim at University Hospital where she had obvious injuries to her arms, legs and back.
She told officers that Luvine forcibly entered her hotel room and that she repeatedly told him to stop.
Luvine is facing rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and burglary charges.
