TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A 19-year-old police originally charged with murder for his involvement in a central Toledo shooting is no longer facing that charge.

The prosecution dropped the murder charge against Tyler Jones as they continue their investigation. However, he is still charged with three counts of felonious assault.

Areanna Coley, 18, has been charged with obstruction of justice.

On May 25, police say a large amount of people were outside their homes on Joffre Avenue when some individuals began fighting for an unknown reason. During the fight, shots were fired and chaos erupted. Four people were shot; one of them died.

The investigation is ongoing.
