Traffic stop leads to meth arrest

SCOTTSBURG, IN (WAVE) – A traffic stop in Scottsburg led to the arrest of two people for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

Around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, June 8, Indiana State Police stopped a blue Dodge truck for a traffic infraction at Moonglo Road and U.S. Highway 31. During the stop, police discovered the vehicle was falsely registered.

A search located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. The driver, Justin Perry, 35, and passenger, Janice Arbuckle, 44, were arrested and taken to Scott County Jail.

Both are Scottsburg residents.
