LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man stopped for a traffic violation was arrested on charges much more serious after police found narcotics and a machine gun in his car.
Shively police made the traffic stop February 24. Officers said they found Jeremy C. Greer, 32, of Louisville, with 15.6 grams of meth packaged in small baggies.
Greer also had 18 Alprazolam pills, a Schedule II narcotic, $390 in cash and a Mac 11 machine gun with 22 bullets. Syringes and a scale were also found in the vehicle.
Greer has been in custody at Louisville Metro Corrections since April 24 on other charges. The additional charges placed against him are possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
