Woman says she stole from hotel for years

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman was arrested June 8 after she was caught leaving an area of a downtown hotel that she shouldn't have been in.

Louisville Metro Police arrested Nematu M. Fullah, 31, after she was seen by hotel security leaving an employee only area of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The arrest report says Fullah was in a food storage area and had several food items in her possession. She also had a video monitor that was used at the hotel valet station.

When she was searched police found Fullah had a LG cell phone valued at $700 that had been reported stolen two weeks before.

Fullah told police she had been stealing from the Hyatt for two years.

Police charged Fullah with burglary and receiving stolen property. She was book into Louisville Metro Corrections and is expected to be arraigned on June 10.
