Southern Indiana man dies from knife wound to neck
SHOALS, Ind. (AP) - State police say a southern Indiana man has been arrested in connection with the death of his adult son from a knife wound.
Sgt. Philip Hensley says state troopers and Martin County deputies found 32-year-old Jonathan Tow with a knife wound to his neck after they responded Sunday night to a 911 call from his father in the town of Shoals. Hensley says Tow died despite the efforts of medics.
Hensley says 60-year-old John Bruce Tow had been in a daylong argument with his son in the town about 40 miles southwest of Bloomington.
John Tow was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and was being held Monday in the Martin County Jail. It wasn't immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
