SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A bunny found under a bush by police in Shepherdsville will be reunited with its owner.

According to the Shepherdsville Police Department, the bunny was found Tuesday afternoon in the bushes of the Park Community Credit Union on Adam Shepherd Parkway.

Officers posted a photo of the bunny on Facebook in hopes of finding the bunny's owner.

Sure enough, the owner of the rabbit saw the post contacted the police department. The owner said the bunny, whose name is Trouble, had been missing for six months. In posts on the WAVE 3 News facebook page she said, "We assumed we wouldn't find him or coyotes got him!" She also said she was "tickled pink that he was found" and will be able to pick him up soon.
