Brandy distillery joins Kentucky distillers' group
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A brandy distillery has been added as the newest member of the Kentucky Distillers' Association.
The KDA says Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. becomes its 20th member - the most since 1947. KDA President Eric Gregory said Monday that's a reflection of the distilling industry's fast growth in Kentucky.
The Copper & Kings distillery is located in Louisville's Butchertown neighborhood.
The distillery says it will produce a vast array of brandy to showcase the diversity and creativity of brandy making.
The distillery expects to be open for tours later this year.
