CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The 11th annual Walk for Wishes was held Saturday morning at Sawyer Point to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

More than 1,200 walkers, sponsors and volunteers came together in effort to help make wishes come true for children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

There are more than 800 children in the Tri-State area waiting for their wish to come true, organizers said. Walk for Wishes hopes to raise more than $100,000 this year.

FOX19's Amy Wagner served as master of ceremonies for the event.
