PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are looking for information about a strong-arm robbery June 2 outside of a Chevron Station near 51st and Southern avenues.

Police said the suspect grabbed a woman's three gold necklaces and ripped them off her neck.

The suspect pulled on the chains so hard the victim fell to the ground and broke her arm.

"He was very cavalier in the sense that he didn't care who saw him," said Phoenix Police Sgt. Derek Elmore. "There were a lot of people out at this time. So that's why we need this to get out there so that the people that saw this can give us more information and catch this guy."

Police say the suspect escaped in a gray Dodge Charger.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377), or 480-TESTIGO (480-837-8446).
