LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman is accused of spending an hour ruining her ex-boyfriend's clothes.
According to an arrest warrant, Shyann Dawn Laffew, 21, went to her ex-boyfriend's home on June 5. At the time, his elderly grandmother and 10-year-old brother were home. The grandmother told Laffew to leave, but she refused.
Laffew went to ex-boyfriend's bedroom and forced open the locked door. Once inside, she began destroying his clothes including two shirts that belonged to his recently deceased father.
The 10-year-old brother witnessed Laffew in the bedroom, ruining clothing. When the 19-year-old victim returned home, he found 49 torn clothes. Laffew still has a key to the victim's car.
The two never lived together and she had no legitimate reason to be in the home.
Laffew is being charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
