Firefighters battled a massive house fire in a Surprise neighborhood Tuesday night.

A 911 caller reported a garage on fire at 25852 N. Desert Mesa Dr. at 7:30 p.m., said Surprise fire Capt. Autry Cheatham. The caller also reported hearing explosions, but Cheatham said fire crews did not hear any after they got there.

Neighbors also reported hearing blasts coming from the garage.

When firefighters arrived, the blaze had spread to the house.

Our news helicopter captured huge flames leaping from the roof.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

There have been no evacuations and no injuries reported, according to Cheatham.

CBS 5 reporter Allyson Blair said crime tape was placed around the vicinity of the fire.

The biggest challenge for firefighters were keeping the flames from spreading to nearby homes.

Fire crews will begin their investigation into how the blaze started, however they are looking into the possibility of it having to do with a vehicle that was being repaired in the garage.

No other information was immediately released.
