LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A weak cold front sitting to our north in Indiana will
slowly sag southward over the next couple of days. This will bring an
increased rain chance to the region Friday, especially Friday afternoon.
Storm chances will diminish with the setting sun late Friday. Scattered
storms will return Saturday with partly sunny skies expected. Temperatures
will flirt with the 90 degree mark through the weekend into early next week.
If you're making plans Friday afternoon or evening at the lake, the pool or
night racing at Churchill Downs be prepared for a few downpours with lightning
and gusty winds. With such warm air in place it doesn't take long to
dry out and any possibility of rain will be a welcomed sight to those with
