Stabbing victim charged in Larchmont Ave. murder

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) -  Louisville Metro Police have charged a man with murder in connection with a shooting and stabbing that happened June 19 in the Taylor Berry neighborhood near Churchill Downs.

Adam Lee Kuhn, 34, is charged with murder after he shot a man he was involved in an altercation with in the 1300 block of Larchmont Avenue.

According to Dwight Mitchell, a LMPD spokesman, Kuhn shot the victim after he was stabbed during the altercation. Mitchell said the victim ran and Kuhn gave chase while firing at him.

Kuhn's arrest report says he chased the victim to the rear of the property and cornered him. Kuhn then stood over the victim and fired his weapon several times.

The arrest report says Kuhn and the victim were friends.
