Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said a reward is being offered for information about a home invasion Saturday in Bayou Blue.
During the early morning hours, deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Lady Bug Lane after receiving a call that one or more unknown people were inside the home.
When deputies arrived, they found the residents hiding inside the home, but the unknown subjects had fled the scene. Investigators said the front door had been kicked in and the breaker box had been turned off, but no items had been taken.
They also learned that two gunshots had been fired into the floor.
Detectives obtainedvideo from surveillance cameras outside the home. Anyone who recognizes the people in the video is asked to call Bayou Region Crimestoppers at (800) 743-7433. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash if the information given leads to an arrest.
