LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An arrest has been made after multiple burglaries were committed at a lawn service company.
On at least three occasions Louisville Metro Police said someone used force to get into Greenscapes. During the latest burglary, a total of eight backpack blowers and eight trimmers were taken.
After pictures from surveillance video of the burglary suspect was released, police received multiple tips identifying Adam Ray Poling, 24, as the person in the video. Police discovered that someone had pawned two items taken from a previous burglary at Greenscapes. That person provided police with Poling's name.
Poling was also identified by a former co-worker who recognized him from the news clips as well as the still images. According to the witness, he confronted Poling about the surveillance video shown on TV and Poling admitted his involvement in just the one burglary.
Poling was arrested June 20 by Elizabethtown Police on a Jefferson County warrant. He is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center. It is not known when he will be brought to Louisville Metro Corrections.
