2 men wanted in eastern KY murder in custody, 1 at large

MOREHEAD, KY (WAVE) – Two Hardin County men wanted in connection to a murder in eastern Kentucky are now in police custody.

According to Kentucky State Police, on Wednesday night Jaque Abrams, 19, of Elizabethtown, was apprehended by officers and Juluis "Jubee" Kolowitz, 20, of Elizabethtown, turned himself into police.

Police issued warrants for the arrests of Abrams, Kolowitz and Anthony "Rell" Paysen, 19, of Hodgensville, in the murder of Bo Otis, 20, of Owingsville, KY.

KSP said Otis was shot in the head June 22 during an apparent home invasion at his house on Rose Road in Clearfield. Otis was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital where he died the next day.

On June 23, state police arrested two men in connection with the murder of Otis - Marcus Stewart, 19, of Elizabethtown, and Demario Powell, 18, of Morehead. An arrest citation stated Powell admitted to driving four people to Otis' home and knew two of them were armed.

Both Stewart and Powell pleaded not guilty in court during their arraignment on June 25.

Abrams and Kolowitz have both been charged with murder and taken to the Rowan County Detention Center.

Police are still searching for Paysen and said he is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post in Morehead at (606) 784-4127.
