NICHOLASVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Six people, including three children, were killed and four people were injured in a head-on collision on U.S. 27.

Police said a station wagon traveling north crossed the median and hit an oncoming van, killing two adults and three children in the station wagon and one adult in the van.

According to the Associated Press, police are looking into the possibility that road rage or reckless driving by the driver of the station wagon caused him to lose control.

WLEX reports that police are looking for a recent model red Ford Mustang which was in the area of the crash.
