LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A northern Kentucky man is under arrest for the robbery of a Louisville bank.
The robbery happened on Saturday, June 7. An arrest warrant says a man entered the bank and handed a note to the teller stating that he had a gun, demanding all of the large bills and saying not to put any dye packs in the money.
A few hours after the robbery, a police officer in Boone County, KY stopped William G. Grubbs, Jr., 36, of Independence, KY, on unrelated charges. Money and evidence was found in Grubbs' car that connected him to the robbery.
