Jerome Jackson of Kenner is the winner of the 2014 St. Jude Dream Home. Of the 10,500 total tickets purchased, Jackson's name was drawn Sunday, during the 2014 St. Jude Telethon. The 2,800 square-foot home, valued at more than $500,000 is located in the 1800 block of Poplar Street in Metairie.
All the money raised in ticket sales and donations goes towards St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, which specializes in the treatment of childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
In addition to Jackson's name being named the winner of the dream home, additional names were drawn for other prizes:
-Dream Home, built by Miller Building Company, Inc., valued at an estimated value of $515,000 - Jerome Jackson, Kenner, LA.
-Tickets on Sale Prize - Two tickets to a home game this fall , two sideline passes and a jersey signed by your favorite quarterback courtesy of 101.1 WNOE - Linda Ray, Metairie, LA.
