HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

A Houma man was arrested last Tuesday for his 4th DWI, according to Thibodaux Police.

Investigators say around 10:30 Tuesday night, 38-year-old Brady Coleman went back to his ex-girlfriend's home in the 500 block of St. Charles Avenue after he was asked to leave earlier because he was intoxicated.

Police say Coleman demanded to come inside.  But, after the ex-girlfriend refused, he forced his way in. That's when police say he helped himself to a beer inside before taking the victim's dog.

Investigators say Coleman was trying to leave in his vehicle when police arrived. When he noticed the authorities he jumped out and ran to the rear of the home.

Police tracked him down and took him into custody. They say upon arrest had a blood alcohol concentration more than double the legal limit.

He's booked with Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling (Felony), DWI  4th, Remaining After Being Forbidden, and three (3) counts of Resisting an Officer.
