USA vs. Belgium: #AreYouReady?

Team USA is gearing up for its round of 16 match against Belgium Thursday at 4 p.m. ET.

The winner advances to the quarterfinals, while the loser gets sent home once and for all.

And the United States will be watching and reacting in record numbers. Facebook announced Monday there have been one billion world cup related posts, comments and likes.

No other sporting event's come close to those numbers.

Twitter said the matchup between Brazil and Chile last weekend was its most-tweeted real-time event ever and broke the previous Super Bowl record.

If you'll be at work during the game, you can follow the action by searching #USAvsBEL on Twitter, livestreaming the game on WatchESPN app or download the FIFA app for real-time updates.

Campaign aims to change meaning of 'like a girl'

If you've ever been told you "run like a girl," chances are it wasn't a compliment.

A new social media campaign, backed by P&G's Always, wants to make #LikeAGirl "a phrase that represents the strength, talent, character and downright amazingness of every girl," the brand says.

The company had a documentary filmmaker ask women, men and boys to act what "throw like a girl" and "run like a girl."

"Just do the first thing that comes to mind," she tells the participants.

They all do the stereotypical limp arms, fix their hair and make girly noises.

Then, she asks the younger girls the same questions and your heart melts as the kids throw, run and fight as fierce as they can -- completely untouched by the negative "like a girl" social myth.

"What does it mean to you when I say run like a girl?" the filmmaker asks a 10-year-old.

"It means run as fast as you can," she replies.

According to the campaign, more than half of women surveyed said their self-confidence levels dropped around puberty.

Of course it's brilliant marketing for Always, but it's also a great message.
