Women arrested after crack cocaine found during search of home

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two women are facing drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was served at their west Louisville home.

Arrest reports state the warrants were served around 10:50 p.m. June 30 at a home in the 1300 block of S. 28th Street in the Parkland neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police say they found approximately 5.3 grams of crack cocaine, along with baggies of marijuana. Also found were two digital scales, new baggies and baggies that had been torn.

Police arrested Keia Roddie, 27, and Facrecia D. Cowan, 35, both of Louisville. Each has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cowan is also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor because her four children were living in the apartment.
