Delivery driver charged with forging tips

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man who worked as a delivery driver for a pizza chain has been arrested on charges that he altered the tip amount on the credit card of customer receipts.

An arrest warrant says Joseph Neil Ray, 30, of Louisville, changed the receipts 22 times on deliveries he made between May 19 and June 8. Ray was working as a driver for Domino’s in the 7900 block of Fegenbush Lane.

Domino’s learned of the fraud during an audit. The arrest report says when the customer receipts were pulled for the audit it was clear they had been altered.

After Ray was contacted by Domino’s about the altered receipts,

Ray was arrested July 1 at his home. He was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on 22 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
