Adair County, KY
Adair County Red White and Blue Festival: Thursday-Saturday, The Fourth of July festivities start Thursday in Adair County, with the city’s annual Red, White and Blue Festival opening with a walk through history at the Forest Llewellyn Cemetery with living history presentations by Curtain Call Theatre and the Friends of Forest-Llewellyn at 5:30 p.m. Also, from 6 to 9 p.m., in Brashear Park, horse drawn carriages will be available for rides around the park. Fireworks will take place on July 5th at 10pm.

Bullitt County, KY
Bullitt Blast/Shepherdsville City Fair: Shepherdsville City Park, off of West First Street (accessible from KY 44.) Thursday through Sunday. Carnival, music, car cruise, exhibitors, food booths, wine garden, beer garden, carriage rides, pony rides, petting zoo. Civil War camp, Friday through Sunday. Fireworks, 9:45 p.m. Friday. A family tradition for Bullitt County residents, this day-long event provides food, rides and activities for children. There will also be live music, competitions, and a terrific fireworks display over the Salt River.

Clark County, IN
Freedom Parade: Jeffersonville Celebrating Freedom Parade on Friday, July 4th at 11am in Historic Downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana. The parade route will be along Spring Street from the riverfront to Federal Avenue (near Warder Park). After the parade there will be a brief ceremony in Warder Park to remember the origins of America’s freedoms, to honor our veterans, and give the parade awards. Cold drinks and hot dogs will be available for purchase at the ceremony. Warder Park is located at the corner of Spring Street and Court Avenue. There will also be concerts in Warder Park and the RiverStage on July 4 to celebrate Independence Day!

4th of July BLAST. Tunnell Mill, 3709 Mill Road, Charlestown, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday. Celebrate July 4th with 18th and 19th century cannons firing throughout the day, live music, reenactors and tours of the Historic John Work House. Bring a picnic lunch. Admission is free, parking $5 (benefits John Work House restoration).

Marengo Fourth of July Festival: The 2014 annual Marengo 4th of July Festival will be celebrated on July 3rd & 4th with lots of food, activities for all ages, parade, and fireworks.

Floyd County, IN
Independence Day Riverfront Celebration: Thursday. New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater. Jimmy’s Music Center Rock School, 5-7 p.m. The Louisville Crashers, 8:30 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. Food and inflatables available. Bring blankets or lawn chairs.

Grayson County, KY 
Rumble on the Rough: Join Rough River Dam State Resort Park for the holiday weekend. Scott Shupe will present a free reptile show July 4 at 2 p.m. A free concert in the park will feature Over the Edge on the patio from 6-9 p.m., also July 4. The park will feature a fireworks display at dusk on July 5. The park, along with the Friends of Rough River, Rough River Business and Tourism and local businesses, will offer events and activities all weekend long to keep the family entertained. Hardin County Founders Day Celebration: July 4th is known as the country's Independence Day, but for members of the Elizabethtown community, it's also the City's birthday. The City was founded on July 4th, 1797. The event is FREE and open to the public, with a small fee for food. Bring the family and a lawn chair and enjoy the Fourth of July Founder's Day Celebration. Fireworks begin at Dusk.

Stephen Foster Story 4th of July Celebration: Join us on July 4th as we commemorate the 188th anniversary of Stephen Foster’s birth. Featuring a host of activities before the show, cup cakes at intermission, and a magical fireworks display to cap off the evening. Performance 8:30 p.m., fireworks after the show. Adult Preferred Seating $24, Standard Reserved $19. Child Preferred Seating $13, Standard Reserved Seating Ages 6-12 $11, (Children 5 & under are free).

Fort Knox Celebrates Freedom: Free Concerts, Family Friendly Activities, Fireworks, Kids Zone, Frisbee Dog Show, and Hot Air Balloon Rides! July 4th 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Brooks Field. Fireworks begin at 10:15.

Kiwanis Annual Fireworks Display: Old Capital Golf Club, Kiwanis Annual Fireworks Display on Thursday, July 3rd at 10pm.

Jefferson County, IN
New Harmony Fourth of July Celebration at the Atheneum Visitors Center: Join community members and visitors for music and patriotic speeches at the Atheneum/Visitors Center beginning at 10 a.m. Continue the celebration at Maclure Park with a traditional community picnic featuring music, food, games, contests and free root beer.

Madison Regatta Parade/Events: This event will feature 200 MPH Hydroplane racing, limited class racing, vintage boats, an air show, fireworks, musical entertainment, and food. Events will be held July 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Jefferson County, KY (Louisville Metro) 
Old-Fashioned Crescent Hill 4th of July Celebration: Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Ave., 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Juried art fair (10 a.m.-6 p.m. both days), live music, fireworks (10 p.m. Friday), children’s activities area, food court, beer tent, prize wheel, indoor silent auction and pet show.

First Friday Trolley Hop: 5-11 p.m. Friday. Trolleys run from 5 to 11 p.m. The Fourth Street trolleys will be free and will make a loop from Market Street to Broadway to include additional businesses along Third and Fourth streets. Most galleries and shops will stay open until 9 p.m.

Belle of Louisville Fireworks Cruises: Held on July 3 and July 4, Reservations are recommended. On both nights, the cruises depart around 8:30 p.m. and return to land around 11 p.m.

4th of July Celebration: The OCAC kicks off the festivities at 2:00 pm with Singing, Flag Ceremony, Pool Races, Kiddie Patriotic Swimwear Contest, Adult Cannonball Contest, and The Greased Watermelon Dive - regular pool admission. Entertainment in the park - before fireworks at 10:00 in Wendell Moore Park.

Pekin Fourth of July Celebration: New Pekin, IN July 3rd Fireworks celebration 10:30pm New Pekin Park. The oldest, consecutive 4th of July celebration in the USA! Flea market, entertainment, food vendors, parade, fireworks and rides. This year marks the 184th consecutive year for the Pekin Fourth of July Celebration. Presently, the celebration includes a fireworks display, flea market and a parade. You will also find a carnival, food vendors, a variety of live entertainment, a prince and princess contest and a queen contest.
