TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police are on the scene of a drive-by shooting investigation.

According to 911 dispatchers, it happened on the 600 block of Fernwood Avenue around noon Sunday.

Police found a bronze-colored SUV on Fernwood with heavy damage on the front passenger side, as well as a black car with a window shot out.

According to officers on the scene, witnesses saw two gunman in the SUV drive by shooting from the windows.

As they tried to take off, the vehicle hit two other cars. Witness say the shooters hopped out of the SUV and took off on foot, as two other vehicles chased after them.

One of the shooting suspects was found shot in an alley near Dorr and  Ewing Streets. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His name and current condition has not been released.

Police are investigating if the incident is linked to another shooting around 1 a.m. Sunday on the 800 block of Vance Street, in which one man was killed.
