LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – When Louisville Metro Police arrested a man on drug charges they found that he was also involved with another type of criminal activity.
On July 10, police served a search warrant at the home of Roberto Tamayo, 27, was found with several pounds of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia. Officers also found that Tamayo had 21 credit, debit and s, gift cards that had been re-encoded.
In Tamayo's pocket police found a four page ledger with credit card data. That data included the credit card numbers and card holder information.
Tamayo was arrested for trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is also facing 21 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
