BOWLING GREEN, KY. (AP) - A gas line has been ruptured on the Western Kentucky University campus in Bowling Green prompting the evacuation of residence halls and a parking structure.
The Daily News reported that crews from Atmos Energy were installing a sidewalk Friday morning when they hit a major gas line.
Bowling Green Fire Department and Western Kentucky University Police blocked traffic from entering campus at University Boulevard. Multiple other buildings, including nearby residence halls and a parking structure were evacuated.
There were no reports of injuries.
