Man wanted in smash-and-grab burglaries turns himself in

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man who allegedly broke into several vehicle in Louisville’s east end is in police custody.

According to Louisville Metro police, around 4 a.m. Friday Joshua Lee turned himself in at LMPD headquarters.

Lee was wanted in connection to smash and grab burglaries at areas including E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park, Lyndon Ballpark and the Northeast YMCA.

He is charged with six counts of theft.

At a hearing July 19, a judge set of bond of $1,000 for Lee. He is due in court again July 29.
