MILTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say a man shot and killed a teenage girl, injured a woman then turned the weapon on himself before the shooting spree ended.
Troopers say 48-year-old Robert Harmon of Milton killed the 16-year-old girl and shot his ex-girlfriend, 33-year-old Niki Davis of Milton on Sunday morning in Trimble County. Police say Harmon then turned the gun on himself.
Both Harmon and the girl were pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Two children who were in the home at the time of the shooting have been placed with family members.
