BG Police investigating forged prescription

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Police in Bowling Green are investigating an incident where a man turned in a fake prescription to get Adderall.

The Kroger pharmacy noticed the fake script Wednesday morning and notified police.

They believe the suspect has been submitting fraudulent prescriptions since September of 2013.

Police say the description of the suspect is too vague to release. They do have an idea of who it might be, but aren't releasing his name yet because it's an open investigation.

"Basically at this point, the office that's investigating will continue to be in contact with the pharmacy, the doctor involved, we'll attempt to obtain any kind of video or documentation that we can, and go from there," said Bowling Green Police Lt. Bradley Biller.

Kroger says they are aware of the situation, and are working with police to get them the video they need.
