LaRue County 911 system fixed after being disabled by lightning strike

LARUE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – The LaRue County 911 system is up and running again after a weekend lightning strike temporarily disabled the system.

LaRue County dispatch said as of 10:15 p.m. July 29 the system is operational and residents can call 911 again. They said they are grateful for the public’s understanding as they worked to resolve the issue.
