3 arrested in Indiana meth bust

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Three people were arrested after the discovery of an active meth lab in Clarksville, according to police.

Narcotics detectives served a search warrant in the 400 block of Cornell Avenue around 4 a.m. on August 1 based on information about a possible meth lab.

Police said in addition to the discovery of an actual meth lab, the detectives also found heroin, marijuana, drug-related paraphernalia and several firearms.

Shelly R. Lamb of Jeffersonville is charged with visiting a common nuisance. John D. Brooks of Clarksville is charged with visiting a common nuisance. Elliott L. Brooks of Clarksville is charged with manufacturing methamphetamines, dealing methamphetamines, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining common nuisance, possession of a syringe, possession of a firearm by a serious felon, and possession of heroin.

All three suspects were taken to the Clark County Jail.
