LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Thousands will leave traffic troubles and parking problems on the other side of town and take a shuttle to the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.

You'll need to budget at least 45 minutes from the moment you park, but if you're on board one shuttle, the ride may not be a bad way to start the day.

More than 11,000 spectators will park in the Cardinal Stadium Green Lot and inside Gate 10 at Churchill Downs.

Shuttles will operate from two public parking lots to the main PGA bus terminal.  The shuttle service will be at 6:30 a.m. and continue until a half-hour after the gates close each day of the tournament.

Public parking will not be available at Valhalla Golf Club or the surrounding area during the tournament.
