LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman is facing a long list of charges after fraudulently using several victim's debit cards.
According to an arrest warrant, Brandy Lyvers, 27, began her spree on March 15. Lyvers is accused stealing two debit cards from vehicles, then immediately using them to make purchases.
She was captured on surveillance at two different locations using the cards. The loss to both cards is about $500 each.
On March 19, Lyvers broke into a car parked at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park. She took the victim's purse and used her credit card at three different Walgreens. Surveillance video captured her using the cards and signing the receipts. She made seven purchases that were under $500 each.
Louisville Metro Police received an anonymous tip identifying Lyvers.
She is being charged with nine counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, seven counts of forgery and two counts of theft by unlawful taking.
