When detectives were speaking with Pipkin, three juveniles attempted to flee from the apartment by jumping down the second floor balcony. A short time later, the three people returned and police ran reports.

One female had a missing juvenile report stating she had been missing since July 18. Pipkin knew the girl had been reported missing and did not attempt to reconnect her with her family. He also admitted that he had been with the juveniles during shoplifting and burglary in the past several months.

Pipkin is being charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and burglary.
